Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster

[ English ]

Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a crazy ride. It is a game that starts out slowly, but gradually gets faster. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel as though you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom collapses.

Blackjack is so akin to a roller coaster the similarities are eerie. As is the case with the popular amusement park ride, your black jack game will peak and things will seem as though they are going great for a time before it bottoms out again. You must be a blackjack player who can readjust to the ups … downs of the game mainly because the game of blackjack is full of them.

If you like the tiny coaster, one that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a much bigger wager, then jump aboard for the coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high roller will love the view from the monster crazy ride because he/she is not thinking about the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few bettors adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s all lovely, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.

If you don’t, you will not necessarily recount how much you enjoyed the view while your cash was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a nice ride … your head in the air. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t easily recount how "high up" you went but you will clearly recall that catastrophic drop as clear as day.
