I have gambled on countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of cash at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years back with $750 after 35 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Wager five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager

Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10

Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $10 wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet

Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager

Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first one hundred and 60 dollar bet

If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!

It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
