I have played countless of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
