Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a roller coaster. Black jack is a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you build up your bankroll, you feel as though you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom drops.

As with the popular amusement experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem as though they are going great for a time before it bottoms out one more time. You must be a blackjack player who’s able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game mainly because the game of black jack is full of them.
If you like the little coaster, a coaster that doesn’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the ride is with a fatter bet, then jump on for the rollercoaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high roller will love the view from the monster crazy ride because he or she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is an awesome feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.
If you do not, you will not naturally remember how much you enjoyed life while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a mad ride … your head in the air. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t clearly recount how "high up" you went but you will recall that catastrophic fall as clear as day.
